Pocket digs are $350 per pocket, and can include up to 2 people. Each dig lasts 4 hours (11 AM – 3 PM) and is by reservation only. Check the calendar regularly as we are always adding availability.

Rules & Important Information – $350 PocketDigs
Age Requirement: You must be 18 or older to book with us. Everyone in your party must also be 18 or older. Valid ID is required at check-in.
Physical Demands: Engaging in the Flash Mountain pocket digging experience can be physically and mentally demanding and may place you at risk of harm. You must be able to maintain good balance and safely hike the property. This experience is not recommended for:
Those with broken bones
Pregnant individuals
Those with heart/cardiovascular conditions
Those recovering from surgery
Individuals with epilepsy
Those with neck, back, leg, or foot conditions
Safety First: Flash Mountain may refuse participation at any time for safety reasons. Please be respectful of guides and other miners — disrespect will result in being escorted off the property.
Refunds & Cancellations:
If you arrive and decide this isn’t for you, you can receive a full refund within the first 20 minutes (no crystals may be removed from the property in this case).
Cancel 72 hours or more before your dig for a full refund.
No refunds for cancellations made less than 72 hours before your dig.
Mountain Conditions:
The hike to the dig site is a 425’ climb on a cleared but steep trail. Wear hiking shoes/boots (no open-toed shoes).
Be prepared to carry your own tools and crystals up and down the mountain.
The property is also our home and will never be publicly open for unscheduled visits.
Tools:
Tools are provided.
Visitors may bring their own basic garden tools.
Powered equipment or tools are not allowed.
What You Find:
There is no limit on buckets or what you may keep during a PocketDig.
You will be digging directly in the pockets — expect to find a lot!
Other Considerations:
Visitors may not dig or collect specimens outside of designated areas.
Red danger tape areas are off-limits; crossing them will result in removal from the property.
You may go to your vehicle and return as needed during the dig.
Military aircraft and nearby gunfire are common in this area and should be expected.

Deer horns or wooden digging tools (even that wooden spoon in the kitchen will work!)

If a date is already booked you can send us an email, there is always a possibility we can take a few more up with us!
Special events such as birthday groups or vacation trips may also be requested for days not open. Send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate your group.
